Today is Anantachaturdashi, the day of Visarjan of Lord Ganesha who has been showering the fervor and devotion upon all of us for the last ten days. On Ganesh Chaturthi, the first day of Ganesh Festival, I prayed to Lord Ganesha of Sarsabaug (Pune), to bless me with divine words to write poems. I hadn't planned it. But, the Kripa of Lord Ganesha is so great, I have been able to write a new prayer every day for the past ten days. Thank you Ganapati Bappa, my faith in you is strengthened by your powerful and prevailing blessings.
Yesterday, I went to for the Ganesha Darshana organized by various Ganesh Mandals. And, guess whom I met.
I met the Sooryakotisamaprabha Ganapati. Sooryakotisamaprabha means the super-majestic aura which can be compared with that of millions and millions of Suns.
Can't believe?
Let's meet my childhood friend, Ganaptai Bappa.

Dear Ganesha, you blessed me with a new prayer every day and you manifested yourself by my prayers, my words and my finger painting artwork.
Your presence every day gave me a new vision towards life.
Please please remove all the obstacles and hardships from my life.
Please liberate my Aatma from Karmabandhana.
Please destroy all the blocks in my Sadhana,
the Sadhana of Mahayoga
and
the Sadhana of Writing,
...please.
O dear Emperor of the emperors, shower the Golden Aura of purity, love for all, and the magnificent prosperity of virtues in my life.
Please bless me with forgiveness and kindness.
Let graciousness be my power.
We may say we immerse your Murti today during Visarjan, but dear friend Ganapti, please never leave our Hearts.
We all love you.
